2013 Summer Cohort Final Reflection
This was my final reflection after my summer cohort in 2013.
Final Goal Statement
Here is my look back at the last 15 months. I look at my first goal statement, written in September 2012, which was what I had to write in order to get into the program. I also look at my first Personal Growth Plan (PGP), written in January 2013 for my first course, CEP 810. Then I talk about what I have learned and how I have changed during the program.
Lifelong Learner Essay
Here is my look to the future of my education, my career, and my life. I thought about how the MAET program has influenced me and what I want to do after I'm done with the program. I also thought about how I will continue my education after my masters, and about how important it is to do so.
Reflection on my MAET Journey
This essay is a look back at my journey through MSU's Master of Arts in Education program. I specifically found three courses that stood out the most to me during this long process. I analyzed how they changed me as an educator and what I learned from each of them.
"Most people are mirrors, reflecting the moods and emotions of the times; few are windows, bringing light to bear on the dark corners where troubles fester. The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows."
