Technology Integration
Technology makes learning fun! Students love to get involved and have a voice! Below you will find many examples of student participation in the learning. I strongly believe that the students must do the hard work in order to learn, and you can see that in these examples (and in the examples on the other pages of my site). The best way for me to ensure that my students are working (and working hard!) is to set clear, high expectations and the easiest way for me to do that is to incorporate technology into my classes.

Review OlympicsThis Google Doc outlines the day-to-day review olympics that I do with my students before their final assessment. The goal is to review grammar and vocabulary while having a lot of fun. The students are in teams,
since this is a "true" competition. The scores are tracked digitally, so teams always know where they stand. The prize? Extra candy or a second sticker the day of the exam (to boost morale!). This picture is an example of a group working together to visually represent their understanding of the passé composé. |
